DESCRIPTION:CENTRAL EUROPE SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP (SIG) MEETING \nMonday\, May 27\, 2019 at 7:30 pm \nAt Shaarei Shomayim\, 470 Glencairn Avenue\, Toronto \nSOME RESOURCES TO FIND VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS \n FROM CENTRAL EUROPE \nLed by Henry Wellisch \nFirst we will do a short survey of WW II history concerning the various \nJewish communities of Central Europe\, such as Austria\, Czech and Slovak Republics\, Galicia\, Hungary\, Carpatho-Ukraine and Transylvania. \nThen we will look at the main resources on Holocaust research and after that focus on Holocaust sources available\, mainly internet resources\, \ndealing with the areas mentioned above. \n  \nOnly JGS Toronto members may attend Special Interest Group meetings. \nNon-members may attend one trial SIG meeting. \nPlease remember that only kosher food items may be brought \n into Shaarei Shomayim.  \nAlso\, please note that entry is through the north (parking lot) doors only. \nFor information\, contact sigs@jgstoronto.ca
