SUMMARY:JGS Toronto Event *** Cancelled "He thought that his family was wiped out in the Holocaust
DESCRIPTION:Due to illness Mr. Cilevitz has had to cancel.  Please monitor our website for a rescheduling of this event. \nRalph Cilevitz will relate the story of how he discovered new connections and relatives.  If you will be viewing from home go to http://oldsite-2022-10.jgstoronto.ca/register \nThere are over 75\,000 descendants of the same man\, Aba Kukla\, who lived in a tiny shtetl in Lithuania in the late 1700s. His nine children went on to produce large families of their own\, creating a sprawling family tree that\, only now\, with the advent of DNA testing\, can be fully visualized. \nRalph has made it his mission to track down all possible relatives in Canada and abroad. His tree is still growing. It may now be the largest documented Ashkenazi family in the world.
